Our first meeting held on May 26th with 60 women officially registered, was held in the CKLQ Hall at the Keystone Centre and “in only an hour” raised $3,000 to be donated to the Crohn’s and Colitis Westman Chapter. $6,900 was raised and contributed to the Women’s Endowment Fund.
Thank you to the Keystone Centre for hosting our event, setting up the room and to Linda Sitter for providing some great appetizers for us and to Mona Kille, the founder of the Women’s Fund who was our guest speaker.
This was a wonderful experience for the 100 Women Who Care, who in only an hour make an immediate and significant impact for a local organization. Well done ladies!
