The Brandon Area Community Foundation is thrilled to introduce a new granting opportunity in addition to our annual fall granting period: the Thomas Sill Granting Program!

Deadlines

• Application Portal: Open February 3–24, 2025 (closes at 4 PM)
• Maximum Grant Amount: $5,000
• Eligibility: Open to all registered charities following BACF’s standard guidelines.
• Grant decisions will be made by the end of March 2025.
• Supported projects must be completed by October 15, 2025.
• Final Report must be completed by October 31, 2025

Applications are accepted until 4:00 p.m. on September 22nd for the fall Community Grants. Expect to receive a confirmation email after submitting your application. If the applicant does not receive a confirmation email, it is the responsibility of the applicant to follow up with Brandon Area Community Foundation. Late or incomplete submissions will not be considered.

Fields of Interest

This program provides funding for projects in BACF’s six Fields of Interest: Arts & Culture, Community, Education, Environment, Health & Wellness, and Recreation. Projects must be located in or provide direct benefit to the citizens of Brandon and the surrounding communities of southwestern Manitoba.
