The Brandon Area Community Foundation was pleased to visit Samaritan House Ministries today to present a $6,500 cheque on behalf of an anonymous donor. This generous gift was directed toward the purchase of several much‑needed practical items that will strengthen day‑to‑day operations and support the organization’s essential work in our community.
With this funding, Samaritan House was able to acquire:
- Heavy‑duty recycling bins
- Blue bins with secure lids for safe, organized dry‑food storage
- Material‑handling carts to improve efficiency
- A set of wheeled floor‑cleaning buckets to support facility maintenance
These items may seem simple, but they make a meaningful difference in helping staff and volunteers serve clients with dignity, safety, and efficiency.
