Brandon Area Community Foundation (BACF) is excited to announce our first-year recipients of the Irv Powers Memorial Baseball Scholarship.

Breelyn Cloet and Rylan McEwan Vincent Massey High School students have each been awarded a $750.00 scholarship.  Through their hard work and determinations these two deserving recipients have proven to be students that BACF want to recognize to continue their educational efforts.

This scholarship in the amount of $750 will be awarded annually to a graduating student who is a current member of Brandon Minor Baseball or Westman Softball, and is attending a Canadian or United States post secondary college or university.  The successful candidate must demonstrate academic achievement, community involvement and leadership skills. The recipient must exhibit a high degree of sportsmanship and participation in the game of baseball or softball.
