At the Brandon Area Community Foundation, we are fortunate to witness the impact of generosity every single day. Our donors make it possible for organizations across our region to receive funding through our Community Fund, designated gifts, and donor‑advised endowments.
Over the past 60 years, this collective support has helped us grow our resources to the point where, this year, we were able to grant more than $800,000 to nearly 50 community organizations in Brandon and area. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has contributed to this milestone.
Many of our donors choose to remain anonymous, allowing the act of giving to shine on its own.
This year, we were honoured to receive several gifts from individuals who wanted to help but “didn’t want any fuss,” as one donor put it. While we know who you are, we want the broader community to understand the meaningful difference your quiet generosity has made.
Your anonymous support helped strengthen the work of:
Samaritan House Ministries, YWCA Westman, Elton Community Center, Western Manitoba Women’s Centre, Rapid City Regional Library, Western Manitoba Regional Library, Sexuality Education Resource Centre Manitoba (SERC), Brandon‑Westman Christmas Cheer, United for Literacy / Littératie Ensemble, Community Health and Housing Association, and Grey Owl Post‑Psychiatric Support Services.
To everyone who has supported the Brandon Area Community Foundation this year—thank you. Your kindness, whether celebrated publicly or offered quietly, strengthens our community in lasting ways.
